This is a dance study group trip geared towards visitors keen on learning about Cuban culture and provides a broad overview of Cuba while offering support to our Cuban dance instructors and the Cuban people. This trip will feature cultural and educational activities with the intent to help support and learn from the Cuban people. Be ready to infuse yourself with the culture of this vibrant island!
Program Includes

Lodging and Transportation

Private group transportation with A/C to/from Havana airport and daily transportation to all scheduled group activities. ​​

Lodging at a beautiful colonial-style Casa Particular (B&B) in the heart of old Havana. Rooms are double occupancy with their own bathroom. Additional charge applies for a single room if rooms are available.

Old Havana, Centro Habana, and Vedado

We will be supporting, interacting, and learning from local artists. Visits to the market of arts and paintings crafted by local Cuban artists and music and dance exhibitions performed by local Cubans.

Welcome Dinner and traditional Cuban cultural show with stars from the Buena Vista Social Club, Afro Cuban All Stars, Tropicana, and other legendary bands in Havana.

Guided tour in Old Havana.

Visit historical sites of Havana City including Hotel Nacional and “El Malecon” (Havana’s famous sea wall).

Dance Classes
-
We will engage with and learn from our fun, local instructors as we take dance lessons. We will take group classes on Casino (Cuban Salsa) and Rueda de Casino. You can also book private lessons (At your expense). You can select from Linear Salsa, Bachata, Casino (Cuban salsa), Son, Afro-Cuban, Rumba, Reggaetón, or Kizomba.​

Night activities

We're in for a treat as we attend the Baila en Cuba concert nights! And here's the icing on the cake: we've invited some wonderful local instructors to join us. This means we'll not only have a blast but also get a chance to practice and refine our moves with their expert guidance. Get ready to have an absolute blast, learn, and groove together with these amazing instructors!

Viñales and Varadero

1-Day Roundtrip to visit Varadero Beach (a 2 1/2 -hour drive from Havana) to take a Rumba class with Cuban instructors. We’ll also make a quick stop in the town of Matanzas on our way to Varadero to support a family paladar. Lunch is included

1-Day Roundtrip to Viñales (2 1/2 -hour drive from Havana). We will visit an organic tobacco farm to learn the tobacco process while supporting local farmers and their families. Lunch is included
